Summer Programs & Indoor Club Tryouts

Summer Field Hockey Camp

Join MDL and your favorite coaches this summer for our 6th annual Summer Field Hockey Camp! This camp is geared towards players of all ages and skill levels. We will teach BRAND NEW players the basics and fundamentals, while challenging and pushing our more experienced players to learn new skills and improve their hockey IQ on the field. Level up your game this Summer, so you can dominate your Fall Season!

Goalkeepers - Goalkeeping Coach Ying will be BACK again at Summer Camp to host her full week GKing Camp! Join us for specialized training to improve your GKer game! Same details as below.

Summer Camp Info:

  • Who:

    • PreK (4yo) - 2nd Graders (Fall 2026)

      • PreK - 2nd grade group - NEW this Summer!

    • 2nd - 9th Graders (Fall 2026)

      • Players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level.

  • When: Monday 7/20 - Friday 7/24

  • Time:

    • PreK - 2nd Grade @ 9:00am - 11:00am

      • Daily Schedule (tentative)

        • 9:00am - 10:00am = FH Session (run similar to Spring Hermit Crab League)

        • 10:00am - 10:15am = Snack & Water Mister Break

        • 10:15am - 10:45am = Playground time @ Utica Playground!

        • 10:45am - 11:00am = FH Scrimmage to end the day!

        • 11:00am = Popsicle Time!

    • 2nd - 9th Grade @ 9:00am - 12:00pm

      • Rising 2nd graders can choose their camp time option.

  • Location: Utica Park Turf Field #7

  • Cost:

    • $150/player = PreK - 2nd Grade

    • $225/player = 2nd - 9th Grade

Winter Indoor Club Team Evals (2026/27 Season)

Is your player interested in challenging their game and playing at a higher level? If YES - then you should join one of our Winter Indoor Club Teams! Attend our Indoor Club Team Tryouts to be evaluated.

Legacy is excited to enter our 6th official Indoor Season as a Club Team! We have continued to grow and develop over the past few years, and are excited to see our players compete again this winter! We are always looking for new athletes to add to our family. Come and check out what MDL is all about and attend our Winter Indoor Club Team tryouts.

Indoor Club Team Eval Details:

  • Who: u8, u10, u12, u14, u16 and u19 players

    • u8 Birth Dates: 8/1/2018 & younger

    • u10 Birth Dates: 8/1/2016 - 7/31/2018

    • u12 Birth Dates: 8/1/2014 - 7/31/2016

    • u14 Birth Dates: 8/1/2012 - 7/31/2014

    • u16 Birth Dates: 8/1/2010 - 7/31/2012

    • u19 Birth Dates: 8/1/2008 - 7/31/2010

  • When:

    • Friday 6/26

      • u19 @ 5:00pm - 6:30pm

      • u16 @ 6:30pm - 8:00pm

    • Saturday 6/27

      • u8 & u10 @ 9:00am - 10:30am

      • u12 @ 10:30am - 12:00pm

      • u14 @ 12:00pm - 1:30pm

  • Location: Ridge Road Recreational Park Outdoor In-line Skating Rink (Germantown, MD)

    • *Only Tryouts are at this location. All winter practices will be at the Frederick County Fairgrounds.

  • Cost: $25/player
